Halo 3 + LAN Party

Guys, Halo 3 is out in 4 days. Now, I had just seen the videos showing Forge and the replay videos at Tarkuss, and I can honestly say I cannot wait until it comes out and we all play for 12 hours straight.



Now, on that note, the LAN party. Obviously we are having a Halo 3 LAN party, but when? Friday is the closest date from the release, and I at least am free. We need to decide this now, and find out whos getting it before this upcoming friday. Also, it will most likely be at my house since I have a big room yada yada. Discuss away!

dude...you have a huge room. but not a very big TV.

and that could be a problem. why dont you buy the Halo3 edition 360? it comes with halo3.

Uh, cause I dont want to buy a 360 and I dont have the money? Also, the big room seems more beneficial than the tv since we also have to use monitors, and not every one will play on a big screen. The tvs big enough, though, so dont get your panties in a knot because of a slightly smaller screen.

Okay, I dont think well be able to have the LAN party this next weekend because:



a) We cant have it Friday, because we have a football game Saturday morning at 11am.

b)We cant have it Saturday, because no one will get any homework done.

So Columbus day weekend is a nogo unless we do it friday to saturday so i can sleep all saturday.



Next weekend is good for me though.

This is assuming Evan, Kevin, Steve, Larry, Nathan, and I will be available.



Here is a list of things people will need to bring:



Kevin:

That long ethernet cable

Computer monitor

Computer speakers???



Larry:

360 + cables + ethernet

Halo 3

2 controllers

Router



Evan:

360 + cables + ethernet + VGA cable (including the mini gender converter and the audio splitter that came with it)

Halo 3

2 controllers



Steve:

Bring a router or two, in case Larrys doesnt work.

Extra 360 controllers





Ill set up on my TV

Larry will set up on a computer monitor

Evan will set up on a computer monitor



Make sure to charge your controllers before bringing them!

Also, Evan, make sure to bring cables this time!



BTW, Manette, I just realized that in the IG2 banner, the part where it says "Immortal Guardian 2" on the left, and mirrored on the right, the i in "immortal" isnt capitalized in the mirrored part.

Manette, do we still need to buy you another cable since your only long one is wired into the server? (we might be able to make a substitute long one to use @ teh party w/ lots of my wire an an existing cable :-D.
